Historic Boston Edison Rebrand
To uphold the historic character and value of the homes in the district by offering programs that support safety and community beautification, empowering residents and visitors alike to take ownership of their community; promoting culture and civic engagement to those residents and beyond; and by hosting events that encourage a greater community bond among diverse neighbors
At the beginning of 2020, HBEA sent an RFP for the development of a visual identity that coincides with its values and passion as an Association. Focused on helping foster a community, increase awareness of the neighborhood in the city and region, and connote positive feelings for current and future residents. Intended for use in HBEA business, communications, web, and social media functions; and by the historic district in its signage and related physical infrastructure assets. From a series of focus group and stakeholder meetings, Hexagon Creative was able to develop a visual Identity that displayed the significance and history of the district in a clean and dynamic design, that could be used for multi-channels of media.
